We would like to say a big congratulations to Amy, one of our recent ACFS students, for successfully conducting her first fraud case with conviction which has been reported on by Liverpool Echo.

Amy shared with us that she managed to prosecute the business owner of Franklin EV Limited, Robert Byrne, after he attempted to swindle a £300k grant for funding from Innovate UK. Mr Byrne claimed that his business, which specialises in electric vehicle charging, was under significant pressure which he then tried to keep afloat by submitting false bank statements to be awarded funding. In November 2019, Mr Byrne altered a NatWest bank statement, claiming the company had a capital of £550,000 when in reality it was only £60,000. Fortunately, Amy helped bring him to justice by employing her investigative skills which she learned on our ACFS programme.

The Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist (ACFS) programme continues to be the industry standard for all those wanting to have a career in Counter Fraud Investigation and our cost-effective training equips students with all the necessary skills and knowledge needed to conduct investigations thoroughly and professionally. All learning material, which has been developed by Counter Fraud professionals, is delivered with a blended learning approach to allow better flexibility and accessibility for our students.

There are only 3 spaces left on our ACFS Programme 55 which will be commencing 27th September so book now.

Congratulations again Amy and thanks for sharing your success with us.
