IUC – I found the exercise very interesting. It was an excellent opportunity to have first hand experience of a practical interview. Prior to the IUC I was apprehensive however the role play itself brought about realisations as to how I conduct myself in interviews. The feedback given by Pete and Andy was invaluable

Cross Examination – I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I thought Mike was excellent and I was pleased that he didn’t give us an ‘easy ride’. I think it is important to understand the challenges and anxiety that cross examination can have and the overall effect of being scrutinised. Mike and Malcolm made the experience realistic and provided me with feedback that I will seek to adopt in my next courtroom appearance

I enjoyed the different learning styles delivered by Malcolm, Andy, Pete and Mike. I believe it kept the course material interesting and relevant.
